Ingoc Cognitive Enhancement Centre is born out of Dr Sara Santos' mission to support people of all ages in their journey to enhance their minds and enjoy learning.
Sara has always been interested in how people learn, perceive the world around them, and how this influences how they think.
What we do
What we do
Ingoc provides Cognitive Enhancement and Mathematics Enhancement.
Cognitive Enhancement: the Arrowsmith Programme is an individualised series of intensive and graduated tasks designed to address cognitive functions.
Mathematics Enhancement: an individualised series of mathematical thinking tasks designed to develop confidence, learning skills and flexible thinking in working mathematically.

Cognitive Enhancement: contact us for enrolment. Taking the Arrowsmith Programme Questionnaire is a good way of learning about the cognitive areas we are able to work on at Ingoc.

British and Portuguese, Sara holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Manchester. Sara has more than 25 years of experience as an university lecturer, teacher, consultant and performer.
Sara has been a BBC commentator on Mathematics and has had multiple international media appearances. In the UK Sara worked at the Royal Institution of Great Britain, King's College London, and created Maths Busking.
In Portugal she is a founding fellow of Forward College. In 2024 Sara started the Mindset Mathematics Summer Camp for visual, creative, collaborative, open minded work in mathematics, combined with art.
Sara always loved mathematics and art and cannot see them separately. She lives in Oeiras where she enjoys being close to the sea.
